US President-elect Donald Trump is \u201cnot safe,\u201d<\/em> Russian President Vladimir Putin believes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Russian president made the remarks on Thursday at a press conference in Astana, Kazakhstan, following a two-day Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) summit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Putin said he was astonished by the way the US election campaign had unfolded, citing the \u201cabsolutely uncivilized methods used to battle against Trump, including repeated assassination attempts.\u201d<\/em> \u201cIn my opinion, he is not safe now,\u201d<\/em> Putin emphasized, noting that \u201cvarious incidents have happened in US history.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Russia\u2019s president praised Trump as an experienced and intelligent politician, saying he hopes the president-elect is \u201ccautious and understands this.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n Trump survived an assassination attempt on July 13 during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, when a bullet fired from around 150 meters away grazed his ear.
